The Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM), through the General Directorate of Rural Electrification (DGER), has completed the physical execution of 13 rural electrification projects in 10 regions of the country so far in 2025, with an investment exceeding S/ 281 million. This enables over 97,000 inhabitants in rural areas of our country to have electricity service in their homes for the first time.
