Las Bambas: Cotabambas District Begins Construction of its New Civic Center

Modern infrastructure will become a reality thanks to co-financing between Minera Las Bambas and the District Municipality of Cotabambas.

The construction of the Civic Center in the Cotabambas district has begun, an important project co-financed by Minera Las Bambas and the Cotabambas District Municipality (MDC), within the framework of the agreement signed between both institutions for the benefit of the population.

The project includes the construction of a modern three-level building, spanning 864 m², and represents an investment of over 8 million soles. Its execution is planned within a period of 210 calendar days.

This project seeks to strengthen the urban infrastructure of the district, creating a suitable space for public services and the development of institutional activities, for the benefit of the residents of Cotabambas.

Furthermore, during its execution, the project is generating local employment and revitalizing the district's economy, contributing to the social and economic development of the area. This initiative is part of the coordinated work between the public and private sectors, aimed at closing infrastructure gaps and improving services for citizens, promoting more modern, functional, and accessible spaces for everyone.
