Lean construction reduces cost overruns in construction projects by up to 30%
A lack of planning and coordination in construction projects can lead to cost overruns of between 10% and 30% of the total budget, as well as delays and contractual disputes. This is according to an analysis conducted by the Graduate School of the Technological University of Peru (EPGUTP) on the application of the Lean Construction methodology in the sector.
