In construction, every hour counts. An undetected delay, an unmonitored restriction, or poorly recorded unproductivity can directly impact project performance. Facing this challenge, COSAPI is developing an evolution of the Weekly Productivity Report (WPR), an initiative that seeks to transform operational information into a strategic tool for site management.

The digital ISP is born with a clear purpose: to centralize and organize productivity information from its origin. This implies integrating construction progress, man-hours, unproductivities, restrictions, and incidents within the same digital ecosystem, allowing data to be more reliable, traceable, and useful for decision-making.

The transformation begins in the field. Through digital applications and forms, teams can report daily progress, log incidents, or alert about unproductiveness in real-time. This way, information is no longer dependent on manual processes or scattered reports and becomes immediately available for production, project control, and management.

This digital ecosystem is strengthened with tools such as Digital Tasking applications for recording man-hours and machine-hours, Work Progress, SCOPe Measurement, and the Issue Management Platform that integrates the CosapUp App, to develop how site teams manage their unproductivities. All these solutions will complement and feed the digital ISP, allowing critical information to be consolidated more accurately for site productivity.

The work team is comprised of project engineers and support areas: Miguel Asis and Diego Vallejo, from Support and Management Control; Elmer Chavez, Head of Technical Office; Eider Bailon, Juan Cohaila, Beto Arriaga, Jorge Ramos, Carlos Muñoz, and Fredy Amarante, from the TC6 project team; likewise, accompanied by the Information Technology team, led by Fabio Arana.

“Beyond automating reports, the ISP aims to generate visibility. The solution will allow for the analysis of performance, identification of trends, detection of recurring constraints, and understanding of how certain factors affect project performance. This will not only improve operational control but also strengthen the teams” ability to anticipate. Having timely information is very important to facilitate decision-making that ensures project success," states Carlos Muñoz, Construction Manager at TC6.

To achieve these goals in this innovation, advanced analytics with artificial intelligence are being incorporated, using AI models to enhance the analytical capabilities of our work teams. With subsequent training, the system will allow users to query information using natural language, facilitating faster and more intuitive data exploration, root cause analysis, and productivity analysis.

With this initiative, COSAPI aims to consolidate data-driven management, where productivity can be measured, understood, and continuously improved. Because in increasingly complex projects, having clear and timely information is no longer just an advantage: it's a necessity.
