The Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) reported that mining investment in January 2026 reached US$1.4398 trillion, representing an increase of 8.91% compared to the same month of the previous year, driven by strong growth in the Infrastructure (+83.31%) and Exploration (+32.91%) sectors.
