The Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Offices of Lambayeque and Cajamarca succeeded in destroying 157 mine openings, 110 camps, as well as machinery, supplies, and materials accumulated for illegal mining activities in the district of Sorochuco, province of Celendín, and the district of Chetilla, in Cajamarca.
