Participants

Castro pointed out that “we must work together on a strategy that allows us to better leverage the positive impact generated by mining, and how this activity contributes to the development of other productive endeavors.”.

IMARC 2026 is an event that brings together investors and leading mining players from around the world, as well as trade partners from Asia Pacific, specialized suppliers, and authorities from over 120 countries.

Also participating in the meeting were Gaby Yulisa Julca, Director of Mining Promotion and Sustainability of MINEM; Milka Vilca, Director of Mining Promotion; and Solange Blotte, Executive Director of APCCI.

Positive Panorama

Peru's participation is of special interest as our country consolidates itself as the second largest producer of tin in the world and maintains global leadership positions in copper, silver, and zinc, minerals fundamental for the energy transition and the development of clean technologies.

The event agenda includes topics related to automation, artificial intelligence applied to mining operations, decarbonization, electrification, sustainability, and operational safety, all considered key aspects for the future of global mining.
