Cementos Pacasmayo invested S/ 144 million in 2025 and maintains available production capacity
Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A. executed investments totaling S/ 144.3 million during 2025, primarily aimed at strengthening operational efficiency at its plants in the north of the country and reinforcing its concrete and aggregates business.
Disbursements were concentrated on productive process improvements in its three main units: Pacasmayo (La Libertad), Piura, and Rioja (San Martín). In detail, S/ 45.1 million were allocated to the Pacasmayo plant, S/ 29.1 million to Piura, and S/ 4.7 million to Rioja. Additionally, S/ 62.9 million were allocated to equipment and assets related to the concrete and aggregates segment.
Despite these investments, the company maintains available installed capacity in both cement and clinker. Annual capacity stands at 2.9 million metric tons in Pacasmayo, 1.6 million in Piura, and 440,000 tons in Rioja. For clinker, capacity reaches 1.8 million tons in Pacasmayo, 990,000 in Piura, and 289,080 in Rioja.
In 2025, the consolidated capacity utilization rate stood at 61.81% for cement and 67.71% for clinker, levels that indicate an operating margin without an immediate need for large-scale expansions.
On the financial front, net sales for the fiscal year amounted to S/ 2,116.9 million, while consolidated EBITDA reached S/ 506.6 million, according to audited financial statements. At year-end, the company reported cash of S/ 53.6 million and total debt of S/ 1,412.2 million, primarily comprised of local bonds and long-term bank financing.
In the corporate sphere, 2025 was also marked by the announcement of an agreement under which Holcim Ltd. will acquire 50.011% of the company through the purchase of Inversiones Aspi, in a transaction valued at approximately US$1.5 billion. With this, the Swiss multinational will become the controlling shareholder.
In environmental matters, the company received a three-star rating on the Peru Carbon Footprint platform, having demonstrated consecutive reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The Rioja plant joins the recognition previously achieved by Pacasmayo and Piura.
The company operates in a region that accounts for approximately 32.91% of the national population and about 20.1% of GDP, with the self-build segment accounting for a significant portion of cement demand.
